Branch Assistant Castlelyons – Part Time Tirlán, formerly known as Glanbia Ireland, is a world-class food and nutrition co-operative, with a diverse portfolio of quality ingredients, leading consumer and agri brands. This part-time role, based in Castlelyons, Co Cork, will report to the Branch Manager and involves providing customer service and sales to customers at our CountryLife store. Key Responsibilities 1. Be customer focused by providing top quality, fast, efficient, and friendly service at all times. 2. Build trusting relationships with our customers and provide excellent service and advice. 3. Keen interest in and understanding of our product range and services. 4. Carry out Branch Administration when required. 5. Ensure that the shop, yard, and work environment are clean and well maintained at all times. 6. Be able to work in the shop and Garden Centre as needed. Key Requirements 1. Keen interest in the Agriculture or Horticulture sector. 2. A friendly outgoing personality, excellent customer service skills, and ambition to exceed customers’ expectations. 3. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Excellent teamwork skills as well as the ability to work on own initiative. 5. Ability to multitask and consistently deliver high-quality work in a busy environment. 6. Strong IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
